1 Western blotting
Western blotting, also known as immunoblotting, is to extract protein from cells, and isolate the different sized protein by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The isolated protein is then transferred to pyroxylin membrane or nylon membrane, to combine with the antibody marked with a certain kind of protein (isotpopes or fluorescent substances), which shows stripes by autoradiography. The density of the stripes shows the amount of protain expressed. Western blotting combined with Northern blotting, have been widely used in the research of gene expression regulation. Customers provide the gene expressive plasmid and the antibody.
Time required :one months.
2 GST pulldown
With a solid phased and tagged protein bait or labeled protein (biotin -, PolyHis-or GST-), to obtain the protein which has interactions with the bait, from the cell schizolysis solution. The pull-down technology can detect the interactions between the protein bait and the obtained protein in an exosomatic or translation system. Customers provide the gene expressive plasmid.
Time required: one months.
3 Co-IP
The recombinant plasmid which can overexpress protein of interest and the special antibody to the target protein should be supplied by customer.
Time required: 1 month
4 Subcellular localization
The customers should provide the gene expression plasmid which has been done the fluorescence labelling. We will provide the detail reports and microscopical photos.
Time required:1 month
