Characters of SOD developed by Shanghai Yuhua Life Science&Technology Decelopment Co.Ltd

        The department of R&D of our company used to clone the human Cu/Zn-SOD gene, modified it by molecular recombinant technology, reloaded it into Yeast and E.coli, which could express the SOD protein in a high level while maintaining the natural SOD activity, and then cultured these microorganisms in small-scale fermentation tank to abtain SOD protein for further isolation and purification. These technologies have been mature by now, and these yeast and E.coli can be used for large-scale production. As expressed by the genetic engineering strains, the product of rhSOD can avoid the risks might be caused by SOD extracted from animal blood or plant, such as allergies from heterogenous protein, mad cow disease (BSE), aftosa and other diseases caused by cross infective. At the same time, to produce SOD by genetic engineering won’t be restricted from resources, don’t need large areas for planting, won’t be affected by the climate, and won’t bring about waste of resources and environmental pollution. Accordingly, our company’s SOD is a high-tech product with safety, high-efficacy, high-production, and high quality.
